The Foundation Proclamation

Oyez, oyez, oyez! The Foundation made a proclamation!

Yesterday, after months of speculation,
The Foundation made their proclamation.
Fanboys and nerds waited with anticipation
for the proclamation of consociation.

We’ve settled on an association.
And with this organization,
we shall work in collaboration
to offer this oblation!

And so across the land
the news did spread.
This announcement so grand,
was applauded and feted.

When will we have it in hand?
Will it be this year or later?
What’s the precise accord with the brand?
Please don’t think me a hater.

Soon.
No.
Maybe.
Perhaps.
It depends.
Not yet.
We can’t say for sure…

As expected, from The Foundation.
I would hold off on any celebration,
for we know their reputation:
Declamation; defamation; protestation.

The fruit of this fraternization
will surely be conflagration.
Always another stipulation,
that is the way of The Foundation.

And here is my prediction:
They will have a conniption,
and play the victim.
The Foundation’s dictum
is frequently one of fiction.
